A Chicago institution is celebrating its 32nd anniversary this month. Since Steve Lombardo and Hugo Ralli opened Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse in May of 1989, they have never looked back. Housed in the space made legendary by the famous Mr. Kelley's (where a very young Barbra Streisand performed) and the former hotspot Sweetwater, Gibsons is not only a dining destination for Chicagoans but for celebrities and tourists as well.
VIPS throughout the years have included Michael Jordan (who was a regular after every Bulls home game), Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Adam Sandler, former President Bill Clinton, Johnny Depp, Tom Dreesen, Nicholas Cage, Tommy Lasorda, Harry Caray and too many others to mention. The walls are filled with photos of all of its famous guests and beloved regulars and has become an iconic backdrop for photo opps.
This classic American steakhouse features Gibsons Prime Angus beef, fresh fish, classic cocktails, an extensive wine list along with impeccable service delivered by a team of true professionals. Gibsons operates three locations in Chicago, Rosemont, and Oak Brook. (Read more here: https://www.gibsonssteakhouse.com/ )
