Randolph Street Market fans can rejoice this summer as the popular marketplace returns to a new location in Three Oaks, Michigan, on Memorial Day weekend.
The venerable, vintage marketplace has taken place at Plumbers Hall in the West Loop since 2003. Established by Sally Schwartz in 1985 as Paint Me A Party Productions, the company was renamed Image Pilots in 2002 to reflect a virtual team and a broader focus on trends in marketing and merchandising.
“I’m so excited to be back in business after a year and a half; we never knew we’d be shut down this long," Schwartz said. "In 18 years of running Randolph it’s never been more than a month since I’ve seen my dealers. These folks are all family to me and I can’t wait to get my arms around them and their merchandise - so great that vintage has a forever shelf life."
Market dates are: May 29, 30 and 31; June 18, 19 and 20; July 2,3 and 4; August 6, 7 and 8; Sept. 3, 4 and 5; and Oct. 1, 2 and 3. There is no entrance fee.
The market, which has been a popular bi-monthly, indoor/outdoor urban antique and collectibles flea market that included the Indie Designer Fashion Market, will be a welcome addition to Harbor Country.
