As the clock struck zero in the fourth quarter of the highly anticipated postseason matchup between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, Packer fans must have been feeling a sense of Deja vu as a second-half script played out in all too familiar fashion, much to the excitement of the 61,500 inside Soldier Field.
Trailing at halftime 21-3, things looked bleak for Chicago with Caleb Williams already having thrown an interception and struggling to get the offense humming, while the Bears' defense looked, as they have all year, very fragile.

However, in the second half, the defense, though not perfect, found an extra gear to come up with a number of big stops, giving Caleb Williams a chance to find some momentum and get back into the game. A pair of field goals followed by fourth-quarter touchdowns on the ground from DeAndre Swift and through the air from Olamide Zaccheaus helped put the Bears in a position to win the game with the ball and 2:51 left on the clock. And that's just what Williams did, completing a ridiculous fourth-down conversion to Rome O'Dunze before connecting with DJ Moore for a 25-yard touchdown to put the Bears up by four. The defense held out on a final Packers drive to seal the victory, giving Chicago its first postseason win since 2011.
The game echoed the previous meeting between the two archrivals, which ended in similar late-game DJ Moore dramatics. The Bears will now face either the reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles or a San Francisco 49ers team that just beat Chicago a few weeks ago. One thing is for sure: Chicago Bear fans are enjoying the ride and look forward to another playoff battle next weekend.
