The 2026 Chicago Auto Show is set to return to McCormick Place from Feb. 7 through Feb. 16, bringing with it a mix of cutting-edge vehicle debuts, hands-on experiences and a new emphasis on local car culture.
This year’s show introduces Chi-Town Alley, an immersive new exhibit celebrating Chicago’s automotive scene with custom builds, performance vehicles and street-inspired designs that highlight the city’s deep-rooted passion for cars. Popular interactive attractions are also back, including expanded indoor test tracks and outdoor ride-and-drive experiences that allow attendees to get behind the wheel of the latest electric, hybrid and gas-powered models from major automakers.

The show once again blends automotive innovation with special events and community engagement. Exclusive VIP Tours on Feb. 6 offer guided access to the show floor led by automotive experts, while the Miles Per Hour Run gives participants a rare opportunity to run a 2.4-mile course inside McCormick Place before public hours.
The annual First Look for Charity gala returns the evening before the show opens, welcoming guests in black tie for an early preview of the exhibits while raising funds for local nonprofits. Throughout the public run, themed days, career-focused programming and special promotions add to the show’s appeal for families and enthusiasts alike.

Tickets are available online and at McCormick Place ticket booths, with general admission for adults priced at approximately $20, seniors and children ages 4 to 12 at $15, and free admission for children 3 and under with a paying adult. Discount days and special offers are available during the show, and all tickets are valid for one entry per scan.
Doors open daily at 10 a.m., and organizers expect strong attendance as the Chicago Auto Show continues its tradition as one of the nation’s largest and most influential automotive showcases.
