Celebrate ‘Drie-cember,’ The Driehaus Museum’s month-long holiday exhibition

“Drie-cember” at The Driehaus Museum has officially begun, kicking off the new month-long holiday celebration with weekend programs for the entire family.

Going on now through Sunday, January 7, Driehaus will feature the Glass to Garden exhibition curated by HBO Max “Full Bloom” judge, Elizabeth Cronin and created by emerging floral designers in Chicago. Glass to Garden will showcase Tiffany-inspired floral design installations from four local floral designers. The designers participating in the exhibition are Angelica Rivera Varela from Semillas Plant Studio, John Caleb Pendleton from Planks & Pistils, Taylor Amilas Bates from Dusk Lily Floral and Serena Madrigal from Espinas.

Holiday festivities will continue weekly during the exhibition with afternoon pop-up concerts and more, celebrating each of the holidays: Christmas, Hanukkah, St. Lucia Day and Kwanzaa. There is also the Driehaus Museum Trunk Show, which offers visitors a lively selection of vendors and special curated items from the Museum Store.
