Chicago Loop Alliance and LeMonde Studio have unveiled Enteractive State, a public art exhibition in the Loop, showcasing the area's energy, spirit, and culture. According to a statement from the Loop Alliance, the five activations feature human-powered interactive sculptures situated along State Street, designed to promote cultural inclusivity and community.

The month-long installation reflects recommendations from the Urban Land Institute’s Technical Assistance Panel, and initiative to elevate State Street. The interactive art installation provides a sense of peace amidst the iconic architecture and landscape of the Loop.

“...thoughtful interactive and sustainable placemaking initiatives like Enteractive State further our neighborhood’s goal of inclusivity and community,” said Michael Edwards, President and CEO of Chicago Loop Alliance.

The event serves as an example of community oriented design, with experiences that extend beyond office or storefront retail. Many of the installations feature music from Chicago’s musical icons, including Mr. Fingers and Benny Goodman. Others promote a sense of merriment and acknowledgement of nature and the surrounding environment.

"We are honored to partner with Chicago Loop Alliance for an opportunity to transform the traditional dichotomy of the Loop into a concept of interactive art that fosters community,” said Nicolas Synnott of LeMonde Studio. The agency seeks to enhance the experience of Chicagoans and visitors through unique and memorable activations like Enteractive State.

These experiences are free and accessible to the public. Discover Enteractive State and immerse yourself in a vibrant art experience that fosters urban community and cultural inclusivity.
