Cirque du Soleil's 'Twas the Night Before... returns for limited engagement

The holiday spectacular, ‘Twas the Night Before… by Cirque du Soleil will return to The Chicago Theatre for a limited engagement from December 11–28. 

This unique production takes inspiration from the timeless poem A Visit from St. Nicholas (often known as “’Twas the Night Before Christmas”) by Clement Clarke Moore, weaving a story of a young girl named Isabella who has grown jaded by holiday traditions. Through a magical snowstorm she and her father are separated and embark on a journey into a winter-wonderland of acrobats, reindeer and whimsical characters—a journey that helps restore the wonder of the season.

In this production you'll experience gravity-defying aerial straps, hoop diving, diabolo juggling, dazzling lights and seasonal costumes that merge circus artistry with festive storytelling. Running approximately 80 minutes and designed for families, the show invites children under 24 months to attend free on a guardian’s lap (they won’t have their own seat). 

Set in the historic Chicago Theatre at 175 N. State Street, the venue adds its own ornate, classic ambiance to the evening’s magic. With varied showtimes including matinees and evening performances, it promises to be a memorable holiday outing. (For tickets/more info, click here)
