EXP Rosemont is set to open on September 25 in Rosemont’s Pearl District. Developed in partnership with Excurio and PHI Studio, this 26,000-square-foot venue is designed to immerse visitors in groundbreaking virtual, augmented and mixed-reality attractions. Ever dreamt of standing before the ancient pyramids one moment and roaring alongside dinosaurs the next? This adventure brings that dream, and more, to life in jaw‑dropping, heart‑pounding style!

EXP Rosemont will feature two exciting VR journey experiences created by Excurio, the company that created the entire VR experience, concept, design, and script for both Horizon of Khufu and Life Chronicles. The Horizon of Khufu takes guests inside the Great Pyramid of Giza on a guided tour. The 45-minute expedition brings to life hidden chambers, a visit to the top of the pyramid and ancient Nile scenes.

The other EXP experience is themed Life Chronicles; this tour offers a narrated voyage through Earth’s 3.5-billion-year history from its earliest organisms to the era of dinosaurs and the emergence of humanity developed in collaboration with the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle.
Both experiences last approximately 45 minutes, accommodate visitors aged eight and older and are designed to blend storytelling with scientific authenticity. Located at 9900 Berwyn Avenue, the venue is accessible via the Rosemont CTA Blue Line and situated minutes from O’Hare International Airport, with parking options nearby.
