Folk-Rock star Noah Kahan is coming to Wrigley Field for two nights of sold-out performances on Tuesday, July 14, and Wednesday, July 15.

The popular singer-songwriter rolls into town as part of his widely successful “The Great Divide” tour, which has seen similar sold-out responses at top destinations across the country. The tour kicked off on Thursday, June 11, making stops in hubs such as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Boston.

Per Holler.com, Kahan was originally only scheduled for one show in Chicago, but added an extra July Date at Wrigley to the tour back in February due to high demand.

The tour accompanies the singer's most recent album of the same name which was released on Friday, April 24 of this year. The record was Kahan’s fourth official studio album and debuted at #1 on Billboard.

Kahan became an overnight star in late 2022 when his third album, “Stick Season,” grew into a word-of-mouth sensation that propelled the artist to new heights. Beginning as a relatively low-profile singer, Kahan gained initial traction during the COVID-19 lockdowns when early snippets of Stick Season songs began to go viral on TikTok, according to numerous publications, including The New Yorker

The success of “Stick Season” rocketed Kahan to folk music stardom and earned the songwriter his first Grammy nomination for best new artist.

Tickets for the Wrigley Field shows have been sold out for weeks, with ticket prices skyrocketing due to the excessive demand. On resale site SeatGeek, the lowest get-in prices are currently hovering around $470 per seat, while the most expensive “pit” tickets are going for $1000 or more.

The massive “Great Divide Stadium” tour extends through early December of this year, with the back half of the tour journeying internationally to places like Australia, New Zealand and Europe. All fifty-one stops on the nearly eight-month tour are listed as sold out, according to the musician's official website.

However, ticket packages are still available for the Out of the Blue Festival, a three-day concert experience Kahan will be hosting in January at the all-inclusive Moon Palace resort in Cancun. Moon Palace is the largest resort in Cancun and will feature poolside and nightly performances from Kahan alongside other top folk acts such as Haley Williams, Mt. Joy and Gigi Perez.
