Cedric the Entertainer brings comedy show to Aurora

Cedric the Entertainer will perform a one-night-only comedy show at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora, IL, on Saturday, August 8, at 8 p.m. CT. According to the announcement, this is his only Chicago-area stop in 2026, making it a unique chance for local fans to see him live.

With a 30-year career spanning TV, film, and stage, Cedric the Entertainer stars in CBS’s “The Neighborhood” and “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” and won NAACP Image Awards in 2023 and 2026 for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series, according to the press release. He also released his first book, “Flipping Boxcars,” in 2023 and launched a wine brand named Setta and a barbecue brand called AC Barbeque.
