Step into a realm where creativity knows no bounds. The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art, is making its vibrant return to Chicago for its seventh edition at Artifact Events from Thursday, March 27 to Sunday, March 30.

This showcase invites art enthusiasts to wander through a wonderland of original creations, offering the rare chance to meet more than 115 emerging and independent artists and take home unique pieces that resonate with their spirits.

Moreover, The Other Art Fair will support Brave Space Alliance, a local charity. Fairgoers can contribute by purchasing select works, with all proceeds going directly to the organization.

Kicking off with an exclusive opening night event on Thursday, March 27, the fair will feature a diverse array of talented artists handpicked by a committee of experts. For a complete list of participating artists, visit The Other Art Fair's official website.

This spring, a new Artisan Edit section will debut, showcasing decorative artworks crafted from materials such as ceramic, glass, metal, and wood. Chicago's own Dara Schuman will be featured for her exquisite ceramic vases, exemplifying the caliber of talent on display.

Art lovers can also engage with artist Anna Marie Tendler, a New York Times bestselling author, as she brings back her popular House of Self photobooth. Attendees can capture stylish portraits inspired by her acclaimed photography series and memoir, creating memorable keepsakes.

For those seeking adventure, the "I Love Art" interactive stamp scavenger hunt, designed by Chicago-based artist Joe Kraft, invites participants to explore the fair while collecting stamps that reveal a larger artwork. This immersive experience encourages attendees to engage with their surroundings creatively.

As part of its mission to support emerging talent, The Other Art Fair's New Futures program will feature Chicago artist Jeff Rivers, who will receive mentorship and exhibition space to help launch his career in the art world.

In addition to visual art, attendees can enjoy live DJ performances from WBEZ’s Nudia Hernandez and Rocío Santos, enhancing the atmosphere with captivating sounds on Thursday and Friday evenings.

The Chicago Art Department will also present thought-provoking installations, featuring the works of Aespyne Alix and Jassiel Serna, adding an extra layer of inspiration to the fair.

An intriguing exhibition titled “Dead Presidents,” curated by All Star Press, will feature reimagined dollar bills transformed by more than 40 artists, prompting discussions on currency and value.

Foodies will be delighted by offerings from local vendors such as the Chicago Empanada Truck and Chicago Lunchbox, ensuring that there are plenty of delicious bites to enjoy while exploring the fair. Sweet treats and coffee will be available from Fat Miilk, providing a perfect pick-me-up.
