It’s all about cool tunes (think ’50s, ’60s, '70s, '80s and '90s) at this weekend's 5th annual pre-Labor Day Throwback Music Fest in the Gladstone Park neighborhood on Chicago’s northwest side. In addition to three days of generation-spanning music, there’s also great food, arts and crafts, kids’ activities, a vintage car display, a pet parade and a cool Miss Throwback contest.
The event will take place Fri., Aug. 27 (4-10pm), Sat. Aug. 28 (11am-10:30 pm), Sun. Aug. 29 (11am- 9 pm) on Milwaukee Ave. between Elston St. and Peterson Ave., 6030 N. Milwaukee Ave. (Tickets/more info here: https://throwbackmusicfest.com/ )
