Green Tie Ball XXX is BACK at a new venue and with an exciting new theme, “Tuxedos & Tennis Shoes”! Join co-chairs Meg Newton Satherlie and Joanna DePorter as they team up to bring this always popular fundraiser to benefit Chicago Gateway Green, a nonprofit dedicated to the greening and beautification of the city’s expressways, gateways and neighborhoods.
The event will be held at the Chicago Sports Museum (835 N. Michigan) on Saturday, September 17. Enjoy premium open bars and gourmet bites from Harry Caray’s Catering & Events, entertainment by top Chicago DJs, including DJ Rock City, and a set from the popular cover band, Dr. Bombay, Throughout the evening, you can compete in a variety of bracketed challenges, including darts, shuffleboard, ping pong and foosball to win great prizes. If you’re not the competitive type, you can take in the unique sports memorabilia, collection of game-used treasures and interactive experiences. VIP Guests will have access to an exclusive lounge complete with private premium bars, passed hors d’oeuvres, private restrooms, and unique gaming experiences.
As a nod to the venue, this year’s theme, Tuxedos & Tennis Shoes, you’re encouraged to pair your finest black-tie attire with your coolest sneakers. If you want to take it to the next level, The Sole Revival will also be on-hand to customize your kicks. You can also purchase a new pair of Converse to customize onsite.
