One of Hollywood's most charismatic entertainers is headed to Chicago's favorite summer music destination. Award-winning actor, singer and Broadway star Hugh Jackman will make his long-awaited Ravinia Festival debut on Sunday, Aug. 9, joining the Chicago Philharmonic for what promises to be an unforgettable evening under the stars. The performance begins at 8 p.m. in Ravinia's newly renovated Hunter Pavilion in Highland Park. 

Best known worldwide for portraying Wolverine in the X-Men franchise, Jackman has also built an extraordinary career on stage, earning Tony, Emmy and Grammy Awards while captivating audiences in productions such as The Music Man, The Boy from Oz and the blockbuster film musical The Greatest Showman. His live concerts blend Broadway favorites, movie music and personal stories, showcasing the warmth, humor and magnetic stage presence that have made him one of entertainment's most beloved performers.

Backed by the acclaimed Chicago Philharmonic, Jackman's Ravinia appearance marks one of the most anticipated concerts of the festival's 2026 season. Festival organizers describe the evening as a celebration of his "endless charm, energy and charisma," offering fans an intimate opportunity to experience the multi-talented entertainer in one of the country's most iconic outdoor concert venues.

Guests can enjoy the full Ravinia experience by arriving early to picnic on the lawn or dine on-site before the concert. Reserved pavilion seating and lawn tickets are available, with prices ranging from $98 to $614, depending on location and availability. Public gates open at 5 p.m., giving concertgoers plenty of time to settle in before the performance begins.
