Lollapalooza has officially released its lineup for this summer's festival, featuring a star-studded lineup of some of the biggest names in music.
The festival will take place this year from Thursday, July 30, through Sunday, Aug. 2, at Grant Park, with concert schedules running from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day.
This year marks the 22nd annual year of the festival in Chicago. According to the website, the first festival took place back in 1991 when the show was still a traveling tour and featured top alternative bands such as Jane’s Addiction & Nine Inch Nails.
This year's lineup brings in some exciting big names while delivering a diverse spread of genres that is sure to offer a little something for everyone.
Headliners for this year include pop culture lightning rods Charlie XCX and Tate McRae, crooners Lorde and Olivia Dean, DJ John Summit, alternative rock royalty Smashing Pumpkins, and K-Pop sensation JENNIE.
Other top performers this year include singer-songwriter Sombr, moody British rockstar Yungblud, rapper Lil Uzi Vert, the 2010’s favorite DJ duo Chainsmokers, and even Netflix/Stranger Things alumni Finn Wolfhard.
The headlining roster leans into a recent trend that has seen the festival veer away from its alternative, indie roots towards a more trendy, pop-oriented lineup that aims to capture younger Gen Z audiences.

Charlie XCX has become a staple at Lollapalooza in recent years, with 2026 marking her fourth performance at the event. The website confirmed that she previously showcased her globe-sweeping brand of pop-punk in 2015, 2017, and 2022.
The Smashing Pumpkins, who were founded in Chicago by native lead singer Billy Corgan, return to play Lollapalooza for the first time since headlining the show back in 1994, according to the Lollapalooza website. Corgan recently partnered with the Lyric Opera House of Chicago for a live performance of the band's hit 1995 album Mellon Collie & Infinite Sadness.

Pre-sale tickets for 4-day passes, which guarantee the lowest prices, will be available for 1 hour on Thursday, March 19, at 10 a.m. CT before going fully on sale to the public at 11 a.m. CT. General Admission 4-day passes are currently listed for $399.
Single day tickets are expected to go on sale in late March once daily lineups are announced by Lollapalooza officials.
