Music of the Baroque will host its annual gala on Saturday, October 15 at the Fairmont Chicago. Once again, the highlight of the evening will be the gala concert that will welcome MOB’s principal guest conductor, Nicholas Kraemer. He will conduct the chorus, orchestra, and featured soloists in a concert of Baroque favorites.
Guests will enjoy champagne on arrival, the gala concert, and a cocktail reception (followed by a lavish three-course meal), dancing afterward to the MixTape Band and SURPRISES! A raffle will feature amazing prizes, including trips to different parts of the United States, and catered dinner parties by Blue Plate.
This is MOB’s only fundraising event of the season. Proceeds benefit every aspect of what they do, from their concerts to Strong Voices, an arts education program in six Chicago public high schools. (www.baroque.org/gala)
