Music of the Baroque to present "Celestial Voices: Music of Angels, Stars, and Heaven" May 11/12. 

Music of the Baroque's 2024–2025 season concludes with Celestial Voices, a concert that honors the ensemble's choral origins. Under the direction of Principal Guest Conductor Nicholas Kraemer, the program features a selection of works from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, including pieces by Tallis, Palestrina, Purcell, Monteverdi, Byrd, Pachelbel, Rameau and Bach. 

Performances are scheduled for Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 7:30 PM at Faith, Hope, & Charity Church in Winnetka, and Monday, May 12, 2025, at 7:30 PM at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago. For those unable to attend in person, the concert will be available for streaming on demand from May 16 to June 16, 2025. 

Looking ahead, the 2025–2026 season offers a diverse lineup of performances, including Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice, Bach's Brandenburg Concertos, Handel's Messiah, and Vivaldi's works, among others. Single tickets for the 2025–2026 season will go on sale Monday, August 4, 2025, at 10 AM.
