The National Hellenic Museum debuted its latest installation Legacy, Renewal, & Unity: Celebrating 100 Years of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America,on Friday, September 15, in celebration of its 100th anniversary. The exclusive centennial exhibit is designed to educate people within and outside of the Greek community on the history of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

Legacy, Renewal, & Unity offers a multimedia experience incorporating audio, video, and physical artifacts from the Archdiocese archives. The featured installations showcase the role of the Greek Archdiocese in American activism and history.  

Located in the heart of Chicago’s historic Greektown, The National Hellenic Museum works to preserve Greek tradition, Greek Orthodoxy, and Hellenism in the United States. Each curated exhibition encourages visitors to explore the impact of Hellenic legacy and Greek history on our local communities.

Legacy, Renewal & Unity: Celebrating 100 Years of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America will be on display to the public from September 16, 2023, through February 11, 2024, at the National Hellenic Museum, located at 333 S. Halsted Street, Chicago. The museum is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. 

Tickets are $10 and include admission to all exhibits, with special discounts available for seniors, students and children. The museum will be closed in observance of holidays on November 23, December 24 and 31.
