The Sloomoo Institute is a vibrant maze of rooms filled with squishy, slimy fun. Gooey goodness welcomes visitors from the moment they arrive at the Chicago location, 820 N. Orleans St. More than 25 vats of slime, each with unique textures and scents, surround the themed rooms, delighting the senses in a playful, immersive atmosphere.

When visitors enter, Slimeologist Keith serenades the room with creatively altered songs that enhance the relaxing joy of squishing and popping the scented slime. It's a tactile treat for children of all ages and even adults.

The Rainbow Room features speakers above each slime vat, creating a calming backdrop of squishy sounds. With walls painted in bright colors and multiple slime stations, there's always plenty of space to join in without waiting.

Lake Sloomoo holds 350 gallons of gooey slime, forming a soft, pillowy pond of fun. Children will be ecstatic as they feel the slime squishing between their toes, with various pools providing different textures for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Sloomoo Falls is essential for those seeking the ultimate slime adventure. Slimeologists outfit visitors with protective gear to prepare them for an exhilarating experience. Adventurers stand under a showerhead, ready to be drenched in buckets of goo, while a Slimeologist sniper targets them with a water gun filled with even more goo.

Every visit wraps up with a stop at the DIY Slime Bar, resembling a mad scientist’s lab but with extra glitter and slime.Visitors can each create one custom eight-ounce jar of slime, which is included in the ticket price. With 40 colors and over 60 fragrances to choose from, the possibilities are endless; one jar may not be enough. Once the perfect mix is concocted, 120 trendy charms are available to put into every slime creation personally.

The Sloomoo Institute offers a fun, all-inclusive, immersive experience that inspires creativity and sensory exploration. Sensory-friendly hours offer a calmer experience. According to the Sloomoo website, during these times, staff members work to reduce the noise and turn off loud installations (Slingshot and Sloomoo Falls attractions). Guest capacity is also limited to provide a more peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Other accommodations include headsets for sound sensitivity and nose plugs for scent sensitivity. Headphones and nose plugs are also available upon request during regular hours.

At Sloomoo, there is welcoming fun for all to enjoy. Whether making slime or simply enjoying the vibrant, gooey atmosphere, it's a playful escape filled with many more surprises that will delight and relax visitors.

The Sloomoo Institute has locations in Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago. The Chicago entrance is on the right side of the Orleans Street building, next to the red elevator.

Note to chaperones: There is a complimentary coat check upon entering. Parking is available in a lot across the street by using Spot Hero. They also offer party rooms for special occasion celebrations. Follow this link for more information and FAQs.
