'The Book of Mormon' returns to Chicago

Good news! 'The Book of Mormon' is returning to Chicago for a limited engagement. This is Chicago's fifth time hosting the Tony Award-winning hit.

There are countless positive reviews of 'The Book of Mormon' nationwide, and the extraordinary reviews extend to the international stage. Since its opening in March 2011 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre on Broadway in New York City, the musical has become one of the most successful shows in Broadway history, setting box office records in New York, London, Melbourne, and Sydney.

'The Book of Mormon' is a musical comedy featuring music and lyrics from Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone—the creators of the popular TV Show, "South Park." The story is about two missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints who travel to preach their faith to the people of a remote Ugandan village.

Accolades abound: The show has won nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, a Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album, five Drama Desk Awards, four Outer Critics Circle Awards, and a Drama League Award for Best Musical.

This show will likely sell out, so get your tickets now. Performances are Tuesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. Saturday's show is at 8:00 p.m. Matinees are Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. There is an additional performance Sunday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m.
