Look out Chicago. Comedy icon Will Ferrell is hosting what could be the “greatest party in recorded human history” as he brings his own, self-titled Ultimate DJ House Party to Wintrust Arena in Chicago on Saturday, October 26.
The event will feature an exciting all-star lineup of world-famous DJs and celebrity guests headlined by a performance from Swedish House Mafia. The show is curated by Ferrell and Grammy Award-winning Chicagoan, Creative Producer, DJ White Shadow.
"The city of Chicago is officially on notice," said Ferrell. "We've loaded up the van, filled it to the moon roof with all our favorite records and enough Zima to get us from Irvine, California to the southeast corner of Clark & Wacker. If you’ve ever wanted to party with me and roughly 10,327 of my closest friends, you won’t want to miss this. It’s going to be the ultimate house party and everyone’s invited. To top it off, we’re celebrating Chicago as the home of house music and supporting a great charity in Cancer for College."
Early commitments in addition to headline performer, Swedish House Mafia include D-Nice, A-Trak, Felix Da Housecat with Dallas Austin, DJ White Shadow, Terrence Parker, Gene Farris, Chicago icon Terry Hunter, Annalyze, Henry Fong, Matthew Koma, The Captains of Industry, Drama,Twista, Madds, Boom Boom Room and Linked Up with more special guests to come including some of Chicago’s most iconic sports stars. The show is produced by Laura Glass, Cocolittle Media.
“We’re so thankful that Will is willing to host these crazy events for us,” said CFC Founder Craig Pollard who became friends with Ferrell while fraternity brothers at the University of Southern California. “His willingness to share his time, energy and star power to host shows like this has allowed us to make a significant impact in the lives of cancer survivors for over 30 years now.”
