Club Pilates has arrived in Logan Square, offering residents a fresh way to enhance their fitness with reformer-based workouts.

Catie Wember, the studio manager, shared why Logan Square, 2733 N. Milwaukee Ave, was chosen for this new, seventh location.

"Logan Square is a wonderful community, and we knew there was a need for more fitness options, especially for Pilates," Wember explained. "A lot of our members have told us they've been waiting for a place like this to open up near their homes."

Wember said that what sets Club Pilates apart is the expertise of its instructors and the supportive community within the franchise. Every instructor has completed a 500-hour certification, ensuring deep knowledge of Pilates principles and the human body. "No two classes are ever the same," Wember said. "Each instructor has their own unique way of teaching that keeps the workouts fresh and engaging."

For those new to Pilates, and to celebrate the opening, the studio offers free 30-minute introductory classes throughout January to help participants get comfortable with the equipment and understand the fundamentals of the practice.

These classes are available on Mondays at 1 p.m., Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m., Thursdays at 12:30 p.m., and Sundays at 1 p.m. and several times on  opening weekends, Jan. 17 through Jan. 19, providing newcomers with a great opportunity to experience beginner’s-level Pilates class.

"Pilates can be intimidating if you've never tried it before, especially with the reformer machines," Wember acknowledges. "But our intro classes walk you through everything step-by-step so you feel prepared and confident going into your first full class."

Beyond the welcoming atmosphere, Pilates offers numerous physical and mental health benefits. "The two core principles of Pilates are core strength and spinal mobility," Wember explains. "The low-impact, controlled movements help lubricate the joints and promote healing without putting too much stress on the body."

For those looking to improve their posture, manage chronic pain, or simply feel better in their daily lives, Pilates may be the answer.

"Pilates is for everybody," Wember affirms. "Whether you're brand new to exercise or a seasoned athlete, we're here to help you move better and feel better. Come in and give it a try--your body will thank you."

As part of their grand opening, Club Pilates Logan Square is offering 20 percent off the first two months for new members who sign up before Jan. 17. The studio will also host a happy hour grand opening event on Jan. 17 from 4 p.m. ‘til 6 p.m.  with raffles for free classes and demonstrations.

Those interested in free introductory classes and discounts can sign up through the Club Pilates website or via the e-mail address on the site.
