All aboard the city's only gingerbread elevator in the city!
Step into a magical holiday wonderland aboard the Gingerbread Express Elevator at Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago! Running now through January 8, 2025, this unique opportunity offers an enchanting and aromatic journey for guests and visitors alike.
This beloved tradition transforms an elevator into a holiday masterpiece, designed by Executive Pastry Chef Keaton Vasek and his team. With over 1,300 hand-decorated gingerbread bricks made from 466 pounds of flour, 105 pounds of dark sugar, and 98 pounds of butter, this festive display took over 450 hours to assemble. The elevator sparkles with gingerbread, candy canes, and sweet treats, filling the air with warm seasonal aromas, all while festive music sets the holiday mood.
The Gingerbread Express is complimentary and open to the public, but donations to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are encouraged, helping families receive care at no cost.
