Chance the Rapper is a force in art, music and philanthropy and was a triple threat this past weekend (his birthday weekend) with a one-night only concert at the Ramova Theater benefiting his charity, SocialWorks, as well as unveiling artwork at EXPO Chicago.

SocialWorks, the youth empowerment charity established by Chance the Rapper, hosted a special benefit concert featuring Chance himself as the headliner. This exclusive event took place one-night-only on April 13 at the historic Ramova Theater in Chicago, with all proceeds going directly to the non-profit.

The concert was eagerly anticipated, promising a night of exceptional entertainment in support of a worthy cause. Attendees were treated to a dynamic musical experience, with Chance the Rapper leading the lineup and DJ Oreo kicking off the evening, creating an atmosphere that celebrated community giving.

At the same time, Chance unveiled his latest artistic endeavor, "The Last Stair," at EXPO Chicago, The International Exposition of Contemporary & Modern Art. This collaborative piece with Thelonious Stokes, a painter hailing from Chicago but now based in Florence, was showcased from April 11 to April 14.

"The Last Stair," a large-scale oil on canvas artwork, made its debut to the public during this exhibition. It's a significant part of Chance's upcoming project, Star Line Gallery, scheduled for release later this year. Additionally, Chance and Thelonious participated in a keynote discussion at the Expo, joined by Asma Naeem Ph.D. from the Baltimore Museum of Art, and moderated by Nate Freeman from Vanity Fair. The conversation delved into their latest collaborative work and explored the enduring influence of hip-hop on contemporary art.
