Chicago Beer Festival: A night of great brews at the Field Museum

The Chicago Beer Festival 2026 is set to be one of the city’s most anticipated beer tasting events of the year, offering craft beer lovers a unique indoor experience featuring dozens of breweries and a lively atmosphere inside one of Chicago’s most iconic venues. 

The festival will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at The Field Museum, located at 1400 S Lake Shore Drive. 

Attendees can sample beers from over 65 breweries, with a focus on seasonal selections that showcase the variety and creativity of craft brewing. The festival provides access to a number of the museum’s exhibits throughout the evening, creating a memorable “night at the museum” vibe alongside the beer tasting.

Two ticket options are available. Early admission tickets cost $75, granting entry starting at 7:00 p.m. and offering access to specialty beers poured during the first hour. General admission tickets are priced at $60 and include access from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Both ticket types include beer sampling, though food is sold separately. Tickets are not sold at the door, so advance purchase is strongly recommended. 

The event is strictly 21+, and no children or pets are permitted. Parking is available near the venue, such as at Soldier Field, but attendees are encouraged to plan a safe way to get home after the festival. 

The Chicago Beer Festival is a must‑visit for anyone passionate about craft beer, offering a rich variety of brews to explore in a celebrated cultural setting.
