Chicago has been chosen to host the 2024 Democratic National Convention next summer, according to a report from the Chicago Sun-Times. This is the first it has hosted since the 1966 National Convention where Bill Clinton accepted the nomination to run for re-election.
The event will be centered around the United Center and take place from August 19 through August 22 next year. The city was chosen over other finalists Atlanta and New York City.
The Republicans will host their convention in Milwaukee.
