Supporting Grassroots Initiatives
Strides for Peace, founded by Maggie Baczkowski, emphasizes the importance of community organizations in addressing gun violence. By providing a platform for these groups, the RAGV helps raise unrestricted funds, increase visibility, and foster collaboration. Notable nonprofit partners include Swervin’ Through Stress, Hood Heroes and Chicago Survivors. These organizations, among others, will be present at the event to engage with participants and share their missions.
