Dance, donate, disco: The 18th Dancing with the Giordano Stars returns to Park West

Get ready, Chicago! On Oct. 9, Giordano Dance Chicago will bring the heat to Park West with the return of its dynamic fundraiser, Dancing with the Giordano Stars. Now in its 18th year, this high-voltage evening pairs local celebrities with GDC’s powerhouse professionals for a one-night-only dance-off, all in pursuit of the coveted disco ball trophy. Each duo gets just one shot to wow the judges and the crowd, making for a night packed with suspense, sparkle and serious moves.

The evening will be emceed by WBBM Newsradio's Lisa Fielding, with a star-studded judging panel featuring Emmy-winning choreographer Al Blackstone, this author and former FOX-32 anchor Corey McPherrin. Beyond the fierce competition, guests will enjoy a four-hour open bar, light fare, and the chance to hit the dance floor themselves. It’s a celebration of rhythm, resilience and community supporting GDC’s mission to empower youth through dance education.
