Darvin Furniture & Mattress is stepping up in support of local heroes and their families as a featured sponsor of the Battle of the Brave bowling fundraiser, taking place from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, January 24, at Town and Country Lanes, 2231 West Jefferson St. in Joliet. In addition to its sponsorship, Darvin will field its own team alongside more than 40 other bowling teams, all united in support of the 100 Club of Will County.
The annual event benefits the 100 Club of Will County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to the families of fallen firefighters, police officers, and first responders. Proceeds from Battle of the Brave ensure that families facing the unimaginable loss of a loved one in the line of duty receive meaningful and timely support.
The afternoon will feature three games of bowling and a buffet lunch, creating a spirited yet heartfelt gathering that brings together businesses, first responders, and community members for a shared cause. While the public is welcome to attend the event free of charge, the buffet lunch is available for $17.85.
Darvin’s involvement reflects its ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves and honoring those who serve others. By sponsoring the event and rolling out a team, the company helps shine a spotlight on the mission of the 100 Club of Will County and encourages broader community participation.
