Celebrating 134 years of giving, the Service Club of Chicago is one of our city’s oldest charitable organizations and, on Monday, August 5, they will be hosting the annual “Day on the Terrace” fashion show and luncheon at the Peninsula Chicago.

Themed “Denim to Diamonds,” the event will return with veteran co-chairs Jean Antoniou, Tracey Tarantino DiBuono and Sharyl Mackey, and offer a ‘first look’ at fall fashion. Some of our city’s top retailers and designers will be presenting chic looks in a show produced by ZZAZZ Productions.
The show will feature gorgeous Service Club models, as well as local media personalities and guest celebrities. Participating stores and designers include: alice + olivia, Anne Fontaine, Contessa Bottega, Elda de la Rosa Couture, Gorski Furs, Lauren Lein, MaxMara, Mira Couture, Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue, Peter Millar, St. John and SYLWIA, Bonobos and Nina in Chicago.

A fun twist to the afternoon will be a “Disco After-Party” on the Peninsula’s Terrace from 2-4 pm. The event begins with cocktails at 11 am, with the runway presentation beginning at 11:45 am.

The Service Club of Chicago’s mission is to assist, improve and expand on nonprofit organizations in the Chicagoland area. Its grant recipients are in social service, cultural, educational, and civic fields.
