Legendary artist Diana Ross will return to Chicagoland to headline the centennial anniversary of UChicago Medicine/ Ingalls Memorial at its 50th Benefit Show Gala fundraiser. The event will take place at the Tinley Park Convention Center on Saturday, September 9.
All monies raised will benefit UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial in support of its mission to improve the health of the communities it serves. Proceeds raised from the event fund clinical programs and services, foundation scholarships, and capital projects for rehab patients at UChicago.
This event is one of the longest-running, most successful community hospital fundraising events throughout the Chicagoland area, raising more than $18 million to help patients get the support they need. Past headliners have included world-class entertainers like Chaka Kahn, Patty LaBelle, Jennifer Hudson, Kenny Rogers, and Tony Bennett.
Located approximately 20 minutes from Hyde Park, UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital is a nationally recognized healthcare facility in Harvey, IL, which in 2016, joined with the University of Chicago Medicine. The merger combined compassionate community hospital medicine with the expertise of a leading academic medical center. Ingalls provides leading-edge care in cancer, stroke, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, gastroenterology, gynecology, urology, rehabilitation, and mental health, among a range of other specialties in Chicago’s Southland.
