The Founders' Board of Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago hosted its 64th annual Dinner on the Bluff and Pro-Am Golf Championship,  a record-breaker presented by Wintrust with over 540 guests at Shoreacres in Lake Bluff, IL. The night highlighted the Lurie Children's Heart Center and featured patient family Tim and Lindsey Brach as keynote speakers. They shared their story and the role genetics and discovery played in their journey to have a healthy and beautiful family, alongside their physician, Dr. Greg Webster.

A paddle raise for Lurie Children’s brought in nearly $1M that evening, the most in the event’s history. The rigorous donating ‘under the tent,’ paired with the incredible support of Wintrust, The Murphy Family, Packaging Corporation of America and Pasquesi Sheppard, and countless others, helped raise nearly $2.1M for Lurie Children’s Heart Center.

The magical evening preceded the Pro-Am Golf Championship at Lake Forest’s Onwentsia Club where 54 golfer foursomes, each paired with a pro, competed to be crowned the 64th annual Pro-Am’s newest winners. At the end of the day, the June Seaman Trophy went to Ian Burkland, Casey Magner, Josh Earnest and Toby Enqvist joined by pro Andy Mickelson.

Overseeing both events were co-chairs Jackie Magner and Katie Wilhelm. Stuart Lansing, chair of the Men's Golf Committee, and its members led the way for a successful Pro-Am Golf Tournament and the Dinner on the Bluff was planned by dinner co-chairs Kay Murphy and Cammy Hines.

Together, these two events raised nearly $2.1M in support of the Founders’ Board and its $4M commitment to Lurie Children’s Heart Center. This funding will help young patients with congenital heart disease and their families the ongoing care that impacts every area of their lives.
