Each honoree has uniquely shaped Chicago’s cultural landscape, and it was a privilege to recognize their enduring legacies in front of our community. This event not only celebrated their achievements but also reinforced the vibrant spirit and rich history of our city. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to honor these living legends and look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.”

Congrats to all honorees, talent, committee members and staff who made this night possible. We can’t wait to see you next year, Mable!

Hello Ms. Candace Jorden: I didn't get to meet you the night of the 1st Annual Chicago Dream Awards, but just wanted to thank you for this glowing review of the evening. Ms. Mable Buckner Harrison Entertainment CEO pulled out all the stops and delivered another first-class event this time for Chicago. To receive the Dream Award is a lasting memory and honor as it was for me during her 1st event in Las Vegas. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your experience in print of how grand the evening and event by Mable Buckner. It was my honor to return to Chicago to pay homage to the Icons we lost in 2023/2024. This is a wonderful picture of You, Jose Sanders, and Mr. Gene (Duke of Earl) Chandler. To give them their flowers and appreciation at this time is immeasurable. May all that's good get better. Loretta Holloway "South Carolina's Official First Lady of Song" www.LorettaHolloway.com
