This special evening will set the stage for HCRF’s annual gala on Nov. 2 at Navy Pier’s Aon Grand Ballroom, highlighting its mission to provide impactful support to the Lurie Cancer Research Center of Northwestern University.

Not only will this event build anticipation for its upcoming gala, but it will also commemorate a decade of impactful support that HCRF has provided to the Lurie Cancer Research Center for “out of the box” research that addresses the most urgent concerns in the fields of cancer biology and oncology in daring and innovative ways.

Hippocratic Cancer Research Foundation (HCRF) began in 2014 by four compassionate individuals who wanted to make a difference for humanity and those impacted by hearing the word "cancer". It was embraced by many, becoming a reality in 2015. HCRF's mission is to eliminate cancer and save lives by funding the discovery, development and implementation of effective new therapies and groundbreaking research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.

Entrusting in the center’s director Dr. Leonidas Platanias and his team of world-renowned scientists and physicians, philanthropic support for robust and vigorous cancer research continues making life changing advances.

The event will include special guests, a set by DJ Akib, fancy cocktails, delicious appetizers and more, all at The Duncan, 1515 W. Duncan, from 6-10 pm.
