Navy Pier is once again in the running for USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, and the race is on to secure the title of "Best Place to See Fireworks" for an unprecedented fourth consecutive year. A Historic Summer Ahead

Regardless of the contest outcome, Navy Pier is preparing for its most ambitious season yet. The free summer fireworks series kicks off Saturday, May 23, with shows every Wednesday at 9:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 PM.

The highlight of the season will be the July 4th display, which promises to be the "largest and longest" in the Pier's history to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
