Hallmark is bringing a little extra Chicago magic to the holiday season with Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story, a football-themed Christmas romance packed with hometown connections, familiar faces and a few delicious surprises.

At the movie’s kick-off party, stars Lyndsy Fonseca and Robert Buckley cut a giant Eli’s Cheesecake, giving the beloved Chicago bakery a sweet moment in the spotlight. Moviegoers can also look for Eli’s in the film’s Christmas Village scene.
The celebration drew many Hallmark stars scheduled to appear in the network’s big holiday movie lineup. The Bears were well represented, too, with players, team mascot Staley and members of the McCaskey family attending the party. The team also plays a role in the film, giving Bears fans plenty of reasons to tune in.

And the Chicago connections don’t stop with football and cheesecake. In another local touch, the film’s Bears Care holiday fundraiser scene features The Happiness Club singing a holiday song, adding a real-life charitable connection to the festive story.

Between the Bears, a hometown cheesecake favorite and a nod to local philanthropy, Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story brings a distinctly Chicago flavor to Hallmark’s Christmas movie season.
