Navy Pier wins best fireworks in the nation

Navy Pier has been voted the winner for the Best Place to See Fireworks in the 2023 USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Travel Awards contest. Nominees for all categories were chosen by a panel of relevant experts which include a combination of editors from USA TODAY, editors from 10Best.com, relevant expert contributors, and and other Gannett properties.

This year Navy Pier’s free fireworks display will return every Wednesday and Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Navy Pier launched the free public fireworks show in 1995. Since then, it has grown into a dazzling display of symphonic music, coordinated sound and choreographed lights produced byPyrotecnico.
