Open House Chicago 2023, a celebration of Chicago's architectural heritage that offers a unique opportunity to explore the city's past and present, will return Oct. 14-15. During this time, numerous buildings across the city will open their doors to the public, free of charge. This accessibility is one of the most attractive aspects of OHC, as it allows people from all walks of life to explore the city's architectural treasures without any financial barriers.

Whether you're an architecture enthusiast, a history buff, or simply curious about the city's treasures, Open House Chicago promises a memorable experience with 170+ sites in 20+ neighborhoods to visit.

For one weekend only, the Chicago Architecture Center gives you the chance to go behind the scenes of architecturally, culturally and historically significant sites across Chicago. This free annual festival is one of the largest events of its kind in the world and, this year, will add 40 new sites including the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Walt Disney's birthplace home, Uptown's Riviera Theater, the Pullman National Historical Park, and many more.
