Party on the beach! Stefani bringing back revamped Castaways Beach Club

Stefani Restaurant Group announced today, April 23, the debut of Castaways Beach Club (formerly Castaways Bar & Grill) Memorial Day weekend. Situated on North Avenue Beach (1603 N. Lakeshore Dr.), the boat-shaped seasonal restaurant has been a Chicago lakefront destination for over two decades. It will reopen with a new name, enhanced look, elevated food and beverage offerings and additional seating as well as private event options. 

The refreshed Castaways aims to bring the nostalgia, energy and excitement patrons knew and loved for many years with a modernized and fresh approach. The space will include revamped dining decks, bar areas, patio space and multiple cabanas available for rent and private events. The two-level Castaways spanning 22,000 sq. feet is set to be a go-to place for all occasions – from offering sit-down dining options to an exciting cabana deck with bottle service, bands and DJs. Although the North End Club will be reserved for patrons 21+, Castaway’s will still be family-friendly in the restaurant portion. The iconic beach house will also see upgrades to furniture, lighting fixtures, color schemes and layout.

Castaways will serve lunch and dinner daily, with the menu featuring global beach fare cuisine. Guests can also enjoy a curated and extensive cocktail menu. 

Castaways Beach Club will offer private event options for groups of 25-500 and have begun booking for this summer and beyond, while also hosting a slate of regularly scheduled events featuring DJs and other entertainment.
