Chicago Bulls icon and NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen has officially returned to the Chicago real estate market, purchasing a stunning $2,187,500 luxury condominium in the heart of downtown Streeterville.

Purchased through an opaque land trust, the high-rise acquisition marks Pippen's official return to Chicago-area homeownership five years after selling his long-held, multi-million dollar mansion in suburban Highland Park.

The legendary forward’s new downtown digs offer a masterclass in urban luxury. Perched high on the 45th floor, the residence treats its famous owner to sweeping east, north, and south panoramas of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan.

The custom-designed unit spans approximately 2,400 square feet, offering a spacious yet private retreat featuring three bedrooms and four bathrooms.

According to real estate records, the property was heavily modified by its previous owners to incorporate premium tech and timeless aesthetics:

  • Gourmet Kitchen: The culinary space features custom cabinetry, rare stone countertops, a premium built-in wine tower, and chef-grade Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.

  • Primary Suite Retreat: Pippen's main bedroom suite is anchored by a spa-like bathroom complete with heated flooring, premium Kallista polished nickel fixtures, and a deep freestanding soaking tub.

  • Tech & Design Elements: Boasting 10-foot ceilings, the condo is lined with motorized shades and a mix of wide-plank wood and classic Herringbone flooring. The entire home is fully automated with a whole-home audio-visual system, including four integrated Sonos zones.

Securing a piece of the Streeterville sky comes with matching financial obligations. Records show the transaction includes two dedicated parking spaces. On top of the $2.18 million purchase price, the property commands an annual property tax bill of $42,513 (for the 2025 tax year) along with monthly homeowners association (HOA) dues of $2,777 to maintain the building's elite staff and services.
