Service Club of Chicago's 4th annual Valentine's Day Tea set for Monday, Feb. 10 at the Ritz-Carlton.

The Service Club of Chicago will bring back its popular Valentine’s Day Tea to the Ritz-Carlton, on Monday, Feb. 10 from 2-4 pm. Back in the day, this idea was brilliantly brought to life by the much-loved man-about-town, Bunky Cushing, who hosted the event every year, usually at the Ritz, and always benefiting the Howard Brown Health Clinic.

Designed as a new event to fill the winter months, the Valentine’s Day Tea brings together members, non-members, men and women alike for an afternoon filled with camaraderie, sweets, tea and fundraising.

Last year, the event raised over $22,000 to support the nonprofit’s Philanthropic Grant Program which assists, improves and expands upon nonprofit agency programs in the Chicagoland area. Grant recipients operate in the areas of social service, cultural, educational, and civic fields and serve children, elderly, the abused and neglected individuals in our community.

Congrats in advance to co-chairs Donna Flynn, Maria Varhis and Manshi Shah. Pink or red attire is encouraged.
