The Chicago Lighthouse's 'FLAIR: Eye on Style' fashionable fundraiser

The Chicago Lighthouse will host its annual “FLAIR: Eye on Style” fashion show and luncheon on Friday, Sept. 13. The FLAIR event supports children’s and youth programs at the Lighthouse helping those who are blind, visually impaired or have other disabilities meet developmental and educational milestones.  

FLAIR’s Eye on Style will be held at the elegant Ritz-Carlton Chicago, 160 E. Pearson. The reception and silent auction viewing will begin at 11 am and the fashion show and luncheon will begin in the Ballroom at 11:45 am.

Runway looks will include a carefully curated collection by ZZAZZ Productions from Anne Fontaine, Alice & Olivia, Contessa Bottega, Elda de la Rosa, Lafayette 148, Lauren Lein, Macy’s Personal Stylist, Maria Pinto, Al Menotti and Nina Chicago.

In advance of the fashion show, there will be a “Shop & Stroll” event on Wed., Aug. 28 from 3-7 pm, with many boutiques in the Gold Coast giving back a percentage of purchases to The Lighthouse. Participating stores include Alice & Olivia, Anne Fontaine, St. John, Veronica Beard, Contessa Bottega, Lafayette 148, rag & bone and Wolford. (For more info, email events@chicagolighthouse.org)
