The Chicago Lighthouse will celebrate a decade of promoting access and inclusion through fashion at this year’s “Eye on Style” fashion show and luncheon. Since 2014, The Chicago Lighthouse has staged this inclusive fashion show, featuring models both with and without disabilities wearing the latest couture. “Eye on Style, “ will be held at the Ritz-Carlton on Friday, Sept. 22, and feature a sit-down luncheon, cocktails, a silent auction, and a pop-up shopping experience before the event.

The afternoon event will honor Tracey Tarantino DiBuono who has been a supporter of this event, “FLAIR: Fun, Fashion and Philanthropy,” from the start. Returning co-chairs Sheree Schimmer and Sherrill Bodine will be joined by Sherry Lea Holson. Returning co-emcees are DiBuono and Candace Jordan.

The runway show, produced by ZZAZZ Productions, will include looks from Anne Fontaine, Elda De La Rosa, Mira Couture, Peach Carr and Max Mara at Bloomingdale’s, St. John, Lauren Lein Ltd., Al Menotti and Contessa Bottega with a special appearance from participants in the Lighthouse’s Youth Transition Program modeling fashions from Macy’s Personal Stylist (presenting sponsor) in the finale.  

Super-star models who will be on the runway include Val Warner (with her husband Jobba Maxey), Chilli Pepper and Chef Art Smith, among others!

The event will also honor past honorees that included: Vonita Reescer, Jamie Hague, Kristina McGrath, Cheri Lawrence, Candace Jordan, Cheryl Coleman and Ron Katz, Susan Griffiths Gohl and Sherry Lea Holson. There will also be a tribute to longtime supporter, the late Kevin Sullivan.

Proceeds will support The Chicago Lighthouse’s Children’s and Youth Programs that help young individuals with disabilities build confidence and become independent adults. (For tickets and more info, click here.)
