The Pearl Club, ready to open April 15 with an elegant look created by Kehoe Designs.

An upscale cocktail lounge, The Pearl Club, has recently opened in River West at 495 N. Milwaukee Avenue (on the corner of Grand, Milwaukee and Halsted). It took over the space previously occupied by Emmit’s Irish Pub which closed last year. This new venture is brought to you by Rob Katz (co-founder of The Boka Restaurant Group) and Matt Ruder.

Described as “London-inspired, old world elegance,” the interior space was brought to life by Kehoe Designs. From creative ideation to custom fabrication and architectural restoration, Kehoe’s design team built an intimate, alluring, urban oasis that balances essential elements to create a cozy atmosphere. It features rich wood tones, floor-to-ceiling velvet drapes, brass and leather. Emmit’s original wood bar has also been beautifully restored.

A small menu has been curated by Chef Isaac Blinn (Porto) with a drink menu from bartender Paolo Acuna (Lazy Bird).
