Bow Wow Wow! Snoop Dogg is performing at the Illinois State Fair this summer

Snoop Dogg is set to return to the Illinois State Fair, bringing his iconic blend of hip-hop and charisma back to Springfield this summer. Fans can expect a memorable performance when he takes the grandstand stage on Wednesday, Aug. 13. This marks his much-anticipated return since his last performance in 2019.

Tickets for Snoop Dogg's concert will be available for purchase starting Saturday, March 15, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. Prices are tiered, starting at $85 for Tier 3, going up to $90 for Tier 2, $110 for Tier 1, $125 for Track, and capping at $165 for the Blue Ribbon Zone. For those looking for an enhanced experience, a $30 Pre-Show Party ticket can be added to all paid concerts, offering an exclusive upgrade.

Jerry Costello II, the Illinois Department of Agriculture Director, expressed excitement about Snoop Dogg’s return in a statement, stating, "We know from past experience that he is a crowd favorite with incredible energy." This year's concert promises to entertain fans from different generations, as Snoop's multi-faceted career spans music, acting, and entrepreneurship.

The Illinois State Fair itself runs from Aug. 7 to Aug. 17, presenting an array of attractions and performances that cater to a wide audience. In a statement Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark expressed excitement for the event. 

"Having been in the spotlight for so long, Snoop Dogg reaches music fans from multiple generations,” she said. “This is a concert you are not going to want to miss."
