Escape the winter chill and step into a world of color and culture at the Chicago Botanic Garden’s annual Orchid Show, running from Feb. 8 to March 23.

This year, the garden transports visitors to the vibrant landscapes of India, showcasing a dazzling array of orchids and tropical plants that capture the country's rich beauty and diversity.

The show features more than 10,000 orchids and other tropical plants arranged in imaginative displays across eight rooms in the Regenstein Center.

As the only large-scale orchid exhibition in the Chicago metropolitan area, the event attracts nearly 90,000 visitors each year. Attendees can enjoy a variety of educational displays that showcase the diversity and significance of orchids, highlighting their cultural and ecological importance.

“We are honored to provide visitors with a glimpse into life and cultures in India, both past and present, as we celebrate orchids,” said Jodi Zombolo, associate vice president, Visitor Events and Programs. “The vibrancy and rich variety of orchid species found in India will be highlighted throughout the Show.”
