Lithuanian-born fashion designer Juozas Statkevicius (aka Josef Statkus) presents the highest level of European fashion to Chicagoland. This fashion runway show takes flight on April 15th at the Compass Arena in Willowbrook, IL. Statkevicius is also well known as a theater costume designer, hairdresser, make-up artist, and professional model.

Fashion show attendees will experience a one-of-a-kind, three-part theatrical fashion show showcasing the highest European couture. There will be 45 professional models from London, New York, and Los Angeles all taking the runway and featuring the creations of the award-winning famous designer Juozas Statkevicius. In addition to the runway show, guests will be treated to a stunning visual lighting presentation. The lights alone take 2 days to install at a cost of $88,000.

Statkevicius is the first Lithuanian designer whose work has been seen in magazines such as Vogue, L Officiel, and Elle. The designer has styled presidents, first ladies, royal family members, and world stars such as Björk, Kyra Sedgwick, Naomi Watts, Nicole Richie, Audrey Butvay-Gruss, Kirsta Bard, and Svetlana Griaznova with his stunning designs.

Statkevicius was the first Baltic designer who showcased his Haute Couture collection in Paris in 2002. This instantly propelled Lithuania to the top of the world for high fashion. He is also well known for his theater and opera costume designs.
