Chicago’s summer festival season kicks off this month with the 26th annual Mayfest, running Friday, May 12, through Sunday, May 14. Experience a weekend of live entertainment and family-friendly fun while giving back to the Lincoln Park community.
The three-day celebration features two stages and an exciting lineup of Chicago’s premier musical acts. Guests can also enjoy a variety of local food, beverage, and art vendors, as well as a kid-friendly carnival area.
Mayfest is designed to uplift the surrounding Ranch Triangle and broader Lincoln Park neighborhoods. By engaging with all that Mayfest has to offer, guests can support local small businesses, regional public education, and the development of existing parks and outdoor community spaces.
The festival will take place at 1000 W. Armitage Avenue, a short walk from the Armitage Brown Line stop. The event is open to the public for a $10 donation, with proceeds going to the Ranch Triangle Community Conservation Association.
