Ice Skating season extended

Spring is in the air, but winter is not quite over at Chicago’s Maggie Daley Park. The skating season at the park’s iconic J.B. & M.K. Pritzker Family Skating Ribbon has been extended to Sunday, March 12.

The ribbon is nearly a quarter mile long, twice the length of a standard ice rink, and loops around a climbing wall set against the backdrop of Chicago’s towering skyline. It can hold up to 700 skaters at a time, but popular times are likely to sell out. Skate rentals are available for a fee, and reservations are required.
