The Chicago Park District celebrates Easter with numerous bunny events which will be held citywide. Most events feature arts and crafts, egg hunts, treats, and prizes. Many programs are free or have nominal entrance fees. Events take place through Saturday, April 16 at parks across Chicago. To view ALL bunny events and locations, click here. Saturday, April 9
The Great Chicago Egg Hunt at Maggie Daley
Maggie Daley Park, 337 E. Randolph St., 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.Ages: 12 & under. Admission: $15Maggie Daley Park will host The Great Chicago Egg Hunt filled with activities, an egg hunt, music, coloring, and much more family fun. All registered participants can enjoy rotations of music, coloring and other fun, but must be present for their assigned egg hunt time. Participants must be able to walk through the field. Please register here! The event will be rolled out in waves as follows: 10:00 - Wave 1, 10:30 - Wave 2, 11:00 - Wave 3, 11:30 - Wave 4. Each wave will accommodate about 250 children. This event is presented in partnership with MBRE.
Commercial Club Playground of Chicago, 1845 W. Rice St., 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.Ages: 2-9Admission: FREE. Join us for arts and crafts, music, games, and three egg hunts organized by age. This event is co-sponsored by the Commercial Park Advisory Council.

Bunny Hop and Fun Run at Durkin
Durkin (Martin) Park, 8445 S. Kolin Ave.10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.Ages: 3-11. Admission: $7. Activities include a one-mile fun run, bunny hop, and a photo with the Bunny! The bunny hop is for ages 3-5 and the fun run is for ages 6+. All participants will receive a swag bag full of goodies. The top 3 winners in each age group will receive a medal and a goodie basket.
